How To Clean Your Bedding While Keeping The Bedding Colorful
How often do you clean your bedding in order to reduce dust mites while keeping the bedding colorful?
As for me, I wash my bedding and bed linens once a week or every two weeks. As long as I don’t go to sleep sweaty, I don’t have to wash it every week.
If possible, use an allergenic pillowcase to protect your pillow from dust mite infestation. Replace your pillow once a year too.
I am not allergic to anything, but I hate dust mites. They are gross.
When it comes to washing the bedding, I use either an all fabric bleach or Borax. And pour about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of inexpensive white vinegar in the wash cycle to help hold in the color.
As for the mattress, I vacuum it twice a year, usually before Christmas and Easter.
